SFA held the opposition to just 35 percent shooting on the other side as well. The Lumberjacks had scored a tepid 124 combined points over the previous two games (a 1-1 run), so the 73 points in their latest win were a welcome sign.
As for LA-Monroe, they got past a similarly struggling MS Valley State team in their last game. The Warhawks shot 43 percent in that one with a 38-33 rebounding edge and a 28-20 advantage on points in the paint. LA-Monroe has been below 67 points in four of the last five games though, so if the Lumberjacks can get some shots dropping early SFA will be fine.
