Temple shot just 52.9 percent (9-of-17) at the line though, and had 14 turnovers in a pretty sloppy game. The Owls have lost consecutive games, scoring a combined 128 points in that pair.
As for UAB, they shot a miserable 31.7 percent from the field, 14.8 percent (4-of-27) from outside and 58.8 percent (10-of-17) at the line. Otherwise the Blazers played pretty well statistically, notching a 44-34 rebounding edge and just eight turnovers. UAB is still 4-2 in their last six games, but they’ve scored below 69 points in consecutive games themselves.
