The UAB Blazers enter Sunday afternoon’s matchup with a 16–9 overall record, including a 7–5 mark in conference play and a 7-7 record at home. The Blazers have amassed recent wins over East Carolina, Tulane, UNC Asheville and Cleveland State, while losing games to Tulsa, Florida Atlantic and the Wichita State Shockers. More recently, in the UAB Blazers 109-106 double overtime victory over the South Florida Bulls last month, UAB guard Chance Westry tallied 24 points (8 of 12 shooting from the field), 2 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 steal showcasing his ability to play at a high level.

Tulane Green Wave vs. UAB Blazers Prediction

This matchup features Tulane’s disciplined guard play and defensive stability against a UAB team that returns home with momentum (two-game winning streak) and brings the most explosive offense in the AAC. Additionally, the Blazers have defeated the Green Wave earlier this season. In my view, UAB’s home court strength and elite scoring make the Blazers the more reliable side in this matchup. For the reasons just noted, I am backing the UAB Blazers to win this game.
