Texas vs Arkansas Prediction
I’ll lean toward Texas. The Longhorns were able to post a solid road win over Texas A&M last weekend, shooting 43.5 percent from the field and a nice 93.8 percent (15-of-16) from the line. Texas added a 37-30 advantage on the boards and just nine turnovers along the way while giving up just 38.3 percent shooting on defense. The Longhorns are 6-2 in their last eight games but just 1-2 in their last three.
As for Arkansas, they shot just 40 percent from the field while giving up 56.5 percent shooting to Florida in their latest road loss. The Razorbacks added just 54.2 percent shooting from the line (13-of-24) with a 48-27 rebounding deficit and a 56-44 disadvantage on points in the paint. Arkansas is still 5-2 in their last seven games though, and should match up much better with Texas in this home game.
