The Aggies shot 44.1 percent from the field and 80 percent (20-of-25) from the line along with a 53-35 rebounding advantage. On defense Texas A&M held the Seminoles to just 28.8 percent shooting overall and had 13 steals off FSU’s 15 turnovers. that makes 86 or more points in four straight games for the Aggies—all of which were wins.
As for Pittsburgh, they’re coming off a nice win over a good Ohio State team themselves. The Panthers shot just 37.7 percent from the field in that one though, and hit only 5-of-22 (22.7 percent from outside alongside 10-of-16 (62.5 percent) at the line. Pitt was careful with the ball though (five turnovers) and had a 38-30 edge in the paint. The Panthers will have to get that shooting percentage way up if they’re going to keep pace with Texas A&M, though.
