That said, the Cards also had 13 turnovers and a 38-23 deficit in the paint alongside 53.2 percent shooting surrendered on defense. The good news is that Incarnate Word snapped a three-game losing streak, a stretch in which they scored 67 points or fewer in every game.
As for East Texas A&M, they couldn’t quite handle Houston Christian at Sharp Gymnasium despite a reasonable 44.1 percent shooting and a 32-26 advantage in the paint.
