Tennessee Volunteers Betting Preview
Tennessee was 10-3 in the record column back in late December. The Volunteers would fall in three of the next four games versus Arkansas, Florida and Kentucky though. Tennessee would hit a 6-1 run over the next seven outings, beating Alabama, Georgia, Auburn, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and LSU. After wins versus Oklahoma and Vanderbilt the Vols have a 20-7 record in the books through 27 games.
In Saturday’s game versos Vanderbilt the Volunteers were down by four points at the break 35-31. Tennessee came back in the second half on a 38-30 run though, and eventually powered out the victory on the road 69-65. Ja’Kobi Gillespie was tops on 17 points wit three rebounds and three steals. Nate Ament added 13 points with nine rebounds as well.
Missouri Tigers Betting Preview
Over on the Missouri side, they were able to win eight of their first 10 games then posted a 4-1 run that featured a lone loss to Illinois on December 22. Losses to Ole Miss, LSU, Georgia and Alabama came over the next six games, then wins over Mississippi State, South Carolina and Texas A&M. After a loss to Texas and a win over Vanderbilt, the Tigers were sitting at 18-8 through 26 games.
Matched up against Arkansas over the weekend the Tigers were down by six points 47-41 going into the second half. Missouri didn’t end up getting any closer than that on a 47-45 deficit and took the loss in the end 94-86. Leading the team in scoring was Mark Mitchell with 26 points, eight assists and four rebounds. Trent Pierce added 22 points with four rebounds as well.

Tennessee vs Missouri Prediction
I’ll lean toward Tennessee. The Vols are coming off a very nice win over a talented Vanderbilt team last weekend, shooting 43.1 percent from the field while giving up just 41.5 percent on the other side. Tennessee added a 40-22 advantage on points in the paint and had a 35-29 rebounding advantage as well. The Volunteers have won four straight games and eight of their last nine outings overall.
As for Missouri, they couldn’t keep pace with Arkansas in a road loss during their last outing. The Tigers gave up 52.5 percent shooting on defense with a 29-21 rebounding disadvantage. The good news however, is that Missouri shot 55.4 percent from the field themselves. The Tigers are 4-2 in their last six games but they’re just 1-2 in their last three. Missouri is in for another tricky matchup here.
