Georgia Bulldogs Betting Preview

The Georgia Bulldogs enter Saturday’s contest with a 6–1 win-loss record. Georgia has amassed wins over Bellarmine, Maryland‑Eastern Shore, Morehead State, Georgia Tech, Florida A&M, and Xavier. The Bulldogs single loss was to the Clemson Tigers. In the Clemson Tigers thrilling 97–94 overtime victory over the Georgia Bulldogs five days ago, Georgia guard Jeremiah Wilkinson compiled 26 points on 9 of 15 shooting from the field.

The Georgia Bulldogs are averaging 95.6 points per game (4th in country) on 47 percent shooting from the field and 26.5 shooting from the three-point line. The Bulldogs are allowing opponents 69.6 points on 37.9 percent shooting from the field (22nd in nation) per game. Junior guard Blue Cain has been a steady contributor for the Bulldogs. Cain is averaging 15.7 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2 assists and 2.3 steals per game. Junior forward Dylan James anchors the paint with 6.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per contest. Sophomore guard Jeremiah Wilkinson has provided further backcourt stability averaging 16 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.4 steals per game.

Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles Betting Preview

The Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles enter Saturday’s contest with a 3–4 record. The Golden Eagles have compiled wins over Virginia‑Lynchburg, Berea, and USC Upstate, while dropping games to Western Kentucky, Charlotte, West Georgia, and Kentucky. In the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles 88-84 win over the South Carolina Upstate Spartans nine days ago, guard Mekhi Cameron tallied 20 points, 5 rebounds and 1 assist.

The Golden Eagles are averaging 67.2 points per game while allowing 80.2 points per game. Senior guard Mekhi Cameron leads the team in the scoring department, averaging 12.6 points per game. Junior forward Dani Pounds is averaging 11 points, 5 rebounds and 1.1 assists per contest. Junior forward JaJuan Nicholls contributes 10.7 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.

Why the Georgia Bulldogs Will Win

•            Elite offense. Through seven games played in the 2025 season, the Georgia Bulldogs are averaging a robust 95.6 points per game which ranks fourth in the nation.

•            The Georgia Bulldogs have three players averaging 9.7 points per game.

•            Home court advantage. The Georgia Bulldogs are 5–0 at home this season.

Why the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles will win

•            Senior guard Mekhi Cameron’s scoring ability. Cameron is averaging 12.6 points per game.

•            Balanced frontcourt. Nicholls and Pounds provide rebounding and interior scoring.

•            Tennessee Tech has shown resilience in close wins, including an 88–84 victory over USC Upstate.

Georgia vs. Tennessee Tech Prediction

This matchup is a clear contrast in talent and overall team depth at the skill positions. The Georgia Bulldogs have been one of the most explosive offenses in the country, averaging 96.6 points per game which ranks fourth in the country. Tennessee Tech has struggled to keep pace against elite opponents. The Bulldogs ability to push tempo, spread the floor, and dominate the glass should overwhelm the Golden Eagles over 40 minutes of play.

Expect the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles to compete early behind Cameron and Pounds.  However, I expect Georgia’s depth and relentless pace to wear down the Golden Eagles.

What makes this game particularly difficult for Tennessee Tech is Georgia’s defensive versatility. With rim protection from Somto Cyril and rebounding from Abson and Catchings, the Bulldogs can limit second‑chance opportunities while forcing the Golden Eagles into contested shots. If Georgia’s perimeter shooters get hot, the margin could widen quickly, turning this into another statement win for the Bulldogs. I am backing the Georgia Bulldogs to cover the 33.5 points in this game.

Hans Geevers's Pick: Georgia Bulldogs -33.5
