SMU vs California Prediction

SMU is probably the more talented team, but the bottom line is these are two middle-of-the-road ACC teams. SMU is making a bit of a hike for this contest, and Cal has defended home court well this season. While SMU is 13-14 ATS on the season, Cal is profitable with a 14-12 ATS record. Also, Cal is far and away the better defensive team and could make this one ugly and physical. It feels like SMU is getting too much respect with this line, and I’m just not there with the Mustangs. Give me the points with Cal at home.

Randy Chambers's Pick: California +3.5
