Southeastern LA vs Northwestern State Prediction
I’ll lean toward Northwestern State but there’s not a lot to get excited about here if you’re not a fan of either team. The Demons were able to take care of a decent Lamar squad in their last outing, hitting 44.6 percent from the field with a 30-14 advantage in the paint and just eight turnovers. Northwestern State got out-rebounded 36-30 though, and had 65 percent (13-of-20) at the line. The Demons are just 1-7 in their last eight games, scoring fewer than 69 points in each of their last five losses.
These teams saw each other back on December 7 in a 76-68 road win for Northwestern State. In that one the Demons shot very well (51 percent) and had a 32-21 rebounding edge but also committed 15 turnovers. Northwestern State needs to clean up the miscues here but should have the advantage on a potential cover.
