I’ll take a stab on LA Tech but it’s a coin flip. The Bulldogs need a good bounce-back effort after falling to a middling New Mexico team in a home game this week as well. LA Tech shot just 34.4 percent from the field in that one with 56 percent (14-of-25) from the line and 11 turnovers. that gives the Bulldogs a 2-3 record in the last five, scoring fewer than 68 points in all three losses.
These teams just played each other last weekend (January 31) in an 83-67 road loss for the Bulldogs. In that one LA Tech shot 42.4 percent from the field with a 34-28 rebounding edge, but also committed 12 turnovers and had a 42-32 deficit on points in the paint. The 49.1 percent shooting allowed on defense didn’t help either. LA Tech has a lot to clean up in the home rematch but I think they can pull it off.
