I’ll lean toward Marist. The Foxes didn’t play their best in the Sacred Heart win last weekend, but eked out the win at home anyway. Marist shot just 35.8 percent from the field in that one and had a 45-33 rebounding deficit with 12 turnovers. The Foxes are just 2-3 in their last five games but they’re also a much-better 6-3 in their last nine overall. Marist has been below 66 points in four of the last five games, though.
These teams last saw each other back on January 2 in a 69-59 road loss for Marist. In that one the Foxes shot just 32.7 percent from the field and 17.6 percent (3-of-17) from outside, but did hit 20-of-23 (87 percent) from the line. Marist got out-rebounded 41-35 and had 12 turnovers along the way as well. The Foxes need a good home push for the rematch, but I think they can pull it off if all goes to plan.
