I’ll take a stab on Saint Peter’s here. The Peacocks demolished a struggling Niagara team in their last outing, shooting 47.3 percent from the floor with a 31-27 rebounding edge and 13 steals off 15 Eagles turnovers. That gives Saint Peter’s 68 or more points in four of the last five games, a 3-2 stretch. Truthfully however, the Peacocks are likely going to have to hit the 70-point mark or clamp down on defense if they want to compete in this one.
As for Georgetown, they’re coming off a tough matchup versus UNC. The Hoyas shot just 33.3 percent from the field in that one and got outmuscled on the boards 42-33. This matchup will be much easier, but I think the Peacocks can hang around well enough to cover if all goes well.
