Robert Morris vs Nevada Prediction
I’ll just stay with Nevada. The Wolf Pack addressed their weak areas in the offseason and should be a formidable opponent for most teams moving forward. Nevada needed a center, and got a couple options in Cedric Lath (Houston) and Simon Majok (Memphis). If they and the rest of the 10 new players gel quickly, the Wolf Pack will be in great shape during the early-going.
As for Robert Morris, they lost players to Xavier, Miami and Iowa State in the spring and had a lot of retooling to do on the roster. The Colonials do have some nice pieces though, including Ta’Zir Smith and his 6.5 PPG from last year. A couple of sophomore front court players in Eddie Cooke and Samuel Obenjo will be back as well. Overall, Robert Morris seems to have some pretty good athleticism on the team and could do some damage if all goes well.

Robert Morris Colonials Betting Preview
The Colonials had a pretty nice regular season in 2025-26, exceeding expectations overall. Robert Morris went 22-11 with a 13-7 run in Horizon League play. That effort would put the Colonials in second place among the standings behind only Wright State. Robert Morris beat Youngstown State in the conference tourney before a loss to Detroit Mercy.
Looking ahead to 2026-27, the Colonials will return longtime head coach Andrew Toole to the sideline for his 17th year. He’ll have his work cut out for him, as the team lost all their starters from a season ago. The leading returning scorer is Darius Livingston, who managed 9.6 PPG and 3.0 APG for the Colonials last year.
Nevada Wolf Pack Betting Preview
Over on the Nevada side, they had a pretty good 2025-26 as well but did get lost in a crowded Mountain West Conference. The Wolf Pack logged a 24-13 overall run with a 12-8 record in the conference, finishing behind Utah State, San Diego State, New Mexico and Grand Canyon along the way. The team made it to the quarterfinals of the NIT ultimately.
This year the Wolf Pack retain head coach Steve Alford in his eighth year. The great news is that he’ll have two starters and four rotation players back from last season’s group. Headlining the returnees is redshirt junior Elijah Price, who managed to post 12.8 PPG last year and bagged second-team All-Mountain West honors in the process.
