Rhode Island Rams Betting Preview
The Rams have run the table with nine straight wins so far. Rhode Island has taken out Fairfield, Holy Cross, Franklin Pierce, Lafayette, Charleston, Detroit, TX-Arlington, Yale, and Providence in succession this year.
In the Providence matchup on Saturday, the Rams were in trouble with a 35-28 halftime deficit. Rhode Island recovered from there with a 41-28 run in an eventual 69-63 win. Sebastian Thomas was the top team scorer on 19 points with four assists.
Brown Bears Betting Preview
Over on the Brown side, they went 1-3 to start the year with losses to Siena, Maine, and Holy Cross. The Bears have since beaten Sacred Heart, Canisius, Stony Brook, Vermont, and Bryant over their last five games, though.
In the Bryant matchup, the Bears came back from a 40-36 halftime deficit with a 40-35 run and took the victory 76-75. Leading the charge for Brown was Kino Lilly with 23 points. Landon Lewis added 21 points with five rebounds.

Rhode Island vs Brown Prediction
I’ll lean toward Brown. This should be a fun matchup regardless, though. The Bears started a little slowly versus Bryant in their last game but would eventually shoot 49.2 percent from the field alongside 32 rebounds. The 12 turnovers didn’t help, though. The good news is that the Bears have hit 76 or more points in four of the last five games so they’re looking pretty solid these days.
As for Rhode Island, they shot 42.6 percent in the win over Providence alongside 12-of-19 (63.2 percent) from the line, 40 rebounds, and 12 turnovers in a mixed performance. It was the Rams’ lowest points total of the season; they’ve been at 81 points or above in the other eight games. Rhode Island does give up a lot of points to decent offenses though, so if Brown can start clicking right off the bat I think the Bears will be in good shape.
