After losses to Austin Peay and Lipscomb, Florida Gulf Coast is sitting on a 7-10 record so far this season.

Florida Gulf Coast finished off with a 56-47 deficit from there and took the eventual loss 84-77. JR Konieczny doubled up on 26 points with 10 rebounds during the defeat and Rahmir Barno added 15 points with seven assists and two rebounds. Rory Stewart put up 12 points in 28 minutes.

I’ll take a stab on Florida Gulf Coast but this one’s a coin flip. The Eagles had a bad second half in their home loss to a decent Lipscomb team last weekend, eventually posting a tepid 29.4 percent (5-of-17) from outside and 12-of-19 (63.2 percent) from the line alongside 11 turnovers. The Bisons hit 14-of-27 (51.9 percent) from 3-point range themselves with 18-of-21 (85.7 percent) from the line. FGCU is just 2-8 in their last 10 games and could really use a spark. They’re scoring pretty well lately overall, though.
As for Queens, they were able to finish off a struggling Ospreys team in their last outing thanks to 46.2 percent shooting from the field and a 39-26 rebounding edge. The Royals have won four straight games now, scoring 77 or more points in all four with 89 or more in three of them. Florida Gulf Coast will need a big push on offense in this one.
