Pennsylvania Quakers Betting Preview
Back on January 31, the Quakers were coming off a rough 4-8 stretch and sitting at just 9-10 overall on the season. Penn was able to rally on a four-game win streak over Cornell, Princeton, Columbia and Cornell again, then lost to Yale. Since then it’s been wins over Dartmouth, Harvard and Brown. That makes for a 16-11 overall record in the books this season.
In the Brown matchup last Friday the Quakers came back out onto the floor after the break with a double-digit lead 44-34. Penn kept it going from there—and got even better—on a 38-27 run on the way to an 82-61 victory as time ran out. The Quakers were led by Ethan Roberts with 18 points, while TJ Power added 17 points with eight boards and four steals in the win.
Harvard Crimson Betting Preview
Over on the Harvard side, they posted a spotty 7-8 run over their first 15 outings of the year. The Crimson won seven of the next eight games though, taking out Columbia, Princeton, Penn, Brown, Yale, Dartmouth and Brown again. It’s been a 3-2 stretch since then with wins over Cornell, Princeton and Columbia alongside losses to Yale and Penn for a 17-11 overall run.
Matched up against Columbia in their latest outing last week the Crimson were sitting in the locker room looking up at a 38-33 advantage on the scoreboard. Harvard kept rolling the rest of the way on a 43-38 stretch in the second half and took the victory in the end 81-71. Chandler Pigge was tops on the team in scoring with 26 points, seven boards and three assists.

Penn vs Harvard Prediction
I’ll lean toward Harvard. The Crimson didn’t have too much issue with Columbia in their latest win—outside of the 44-32 deficit on points in the paint, anyway. Harvard shot 53.8 percent from the field in that one with 83.3 percent (15-of-18) at the line. The Crimson have won seven of their last nine games, but they’ve been below 62 points in two of the last three outings.
These teams split the season series with the home team getting one win each. Harvard took it 64-63 on January 19 and Penn got one 64-61 on February 28. In the road loss the Crimson didn’t shoot great (41.4 percent) but then again neither did Penn (41.9 percent). Harvard added a 34-31 rebounding edge but shot themselves in the foot with 18 turnovers for 23 Quakers points. The Crimson really need to watch the ball handling in this one.
