I’ll lean toward Oral Roberts but there’s not much to get excited about here if you’re not a fan of either team. The Eagles did a good job against Denver this week though, shooting a very nice 52.7 percent from the field with 89.7 percent (35-of-39) from the line. The 40-26 rebounding edge was a nice touch as well. Oral Roberts has won consecutive games now, and three of their last five. That’s a solid run after the losing streak in January/February.
These teams saw each other pretty recently: February 12 in a 69-60 home win for the Eagles. In that game Oral Roberts shot pretty poorly (40 percent) but so did the Roos (32.8 percent). The Eagles had a slim edge on rebounding 38-35 and hit 13 of their 16 attempts from the line (81.3 percent). I like this one to be pretty competitive, and I’m favoring Oral Roberts slightly.
