Over on the TCU side, they went just 2-2 in their first four games with wins over Saint Francis and Lamar in between losses to New Orleans and Michigan. The Frogs are 5-1 since then however, with a lone loss to Notre Dame in OT. The wins otherwise have been versus Kansas City, Florida, Wisconsin, North Texas and Incarnate Word. That makes for a 7-3 record in 10 games this season.
Matched up against Incarnate Word in their last appearance, TCU was behind 37-31 at the break. The Frogs bounced back on a 38-28 run from there however, resulting in a 69-65 comeback win. David Punch topped the team on a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds, while both Brock Harding and Liutauras Lelevicius posted 13 points apiece in the win for the Horned Frogs.

I’ll stay with TCU. The Frogs started out slowly against a middling Incarnate Word team in their last outing and ended up shooting just 3-of-16 (18.8 percent) from 3-point range. Everything worked out though, and TCU eventually posted 47.1 percent shooting from the field, 31 rebounds and just eight turnovers. The Frogs are a nice 5-1 in their last six games but they’ve been below 70 points in each of the last two. I’d like to see a big total from TCU in this one.
As for Oral Roberts, they were nearly able to make the comeback against a middling Missouri State team this week but fell just short. The Eagles shot just 36.2 percent from the field in that one but did well from the line (20-of-23 for 87 percent). Oral Roberts couldn’t overcome the 26-16 deficit in the paint either. That makes fewer than 67 points in three of the last five (all three were losses) for the Eagles.
