Northwestern vs DePaul Prediction
I’ll stick with Northwestern. The Wildcats have been on a nice run through three games so far and they’re coming off another dominant effort versus Cleveland State. In that one Northwestern shot 60.3 percent from the field with 52.4 percent (11-of-21) from outside. The 40-25 rebounding edge, 26 team assists and 52-26 advantage in the paint helped quite a bit, as did the acceptable seven turnovers.
As for DePaul, they put up just 33.3 percent shooting in the loss to Buffalo and missed half their free throws (10-of-20). The Demons had 18 turnovers and scored just 16 points in the paint. Northwestern should have the advantage here, even on the road.
