The Lions are just 2-9 since then however, taking losses to Alabama A&M, Loyola Marymount, Stetson, Florida Gulf Coast, Eastern Kentucky, North Florida, Jacksonville, Queens U and Florida Gulf Coast again during that time. Over 20 games so far that gives North Alabama a 7-13 run.
In the Stetson matchup over the weekend the Lions entered the second half sporting a 34-29 advantage. North Alabama closed on a 37-34 deficit but managed to hang on in the end for the 68-66 victory on the road. The Lions were led by Donte Bacchus with 23 points, seven rebounds and two assists. North Alabama vs Central Arkansas Prediction
I’ll stay with Central Arkansas. The Bears pulled off a nine-point win at home over a struggling Eastern Kentucky team last weekend thanks to 49.3 percent shooting, a 40-20 advantage in the paint and just six turnovers. Central Arkansas was pretty bad from the line though (13-of-26 for 50 percent) and got outmuscled on the boards 35-33. Still, that makes five straight wins for the Bears with 86 or more points in each of the last four.
As for the Lions, they eked out a road win over Stetson in their last outing. North Alabama shot pretty well on 48.1 percent from the field and had a slight advantage on points in the paint 36-34. The Lions have only won two games since December 3 however, and they’re giving up quite a bit of points on defense during that time.
