Over on the Wyoming side, they were able to start the year on four straight wins. The Cowboys’ opening matchup was against Northern State and turned into a 99-75 victory. Norfolk State vs Wyoming Prediction

I’ll lean toward Wyoming. The Cowboys need a good bounce-back here following a relatively tepid effort against a beatable Sam Houston team in their last outing, though. In that eight-point defeat Wyoming shot a solid 45.2 percent from the field and had a 44-34 advantage in points in the paint. The Cowboys were competitive on the boards as well. What went wrong, then? Well, you can start with the rough 5-of-23 (21.7 percent) from 3-point range or the 9-of-22 (40.9 percent) from the free throw line—or just point to the 14 turnovers. Long story short, it wasn’t the Cowboys’ finest moment. Still, the Cowboys have scored 70 or more points in all five games so far and should be able to handle Norfolk State if all goes well.
