Jalin Rice led the team with 13 points and two boards in 14 minutes, and Jalik Dunkley added 10 points and four rebounds. In their second outing of the year the Colonels played Eastern Illinois. Nicholls State scored 41 points in the second half but still lost 65-57. Jaylen Searles was the team leader in the losing effort with 20 points, six rebounds and three assists. Game three versus Valparaiso was antlers loss for Nicholls, this time 68-63. Trae English led the way with 14 points and four rebounds in the losing effort, and two other players had 11 points apiece.

As for game four, the Colonels continued their season-opening losing streak versus Murray State last weekend. Oklahoma State Cowboys Betting Preview

Over on the Oklahoma State side, they’ve got five games in the bag so far—and five victories. The first came 95-71 versus Oral Roberts on November 4. The Cowboys’ Vyctorius Miller topped the team with his 21 points and three rebounds. In game two versus Texas A&M, Oklahoma State bagged another win 87-63. Christian Coleman led the way this time on 16 points and three boards. As for game three, Oklahoma State took a win 94-67 versus Prairie View A&M. The Cowboys’ Miller was the leading scorer on 30 points with three boards and two assists. Game four was another victory, this time over Texas A&M-CC 85-69. Oklahoma State got 15 points and two rebounds in just 16 minutes from Anthony Roy.

Back on Wednesday versus South Florida, Oklahoma State got another win but this one was pretty close. The Cowboys trailed 45-44 at the break but got it going after halftime on a 59-50 run and took the comeback victory 103-95 in the end. Why the Oklahoma State Cowboys will win

Nicholls vs Oklahoma State Prediction

I’ll just stick with the Cowboys. I’m probably not going near this one, though. Oklahoma State wasn’t exactly dominant versus South Florida in their most recent outing, but did enough to get the eventual win. The Cowboys ended up shooting a stellar 59.4 percent from the field and had a 44-30 advantage in the paint alongside 19 team assists. That said, OK State also coughed up 18 turnovers and missed 10 of their 26 free throw attempts (61.5 percent). The good news is that this one (in all likelihood) will be another win; the only question is the margin of victory.
