-Recent Betting trends and streaks involving Nebraska

-Recent Betting trends and streaks involving Michigan State

-Recent betting trends in games played between Nebraska and Michigan State

-A summary that ties it all together and produces a favorable betting outcome for Today’s Game between the Cornhuskers and Spartans.

Nebraska Has Won Three Straight Games

Nebraska has won three straight games and they have a ton of confidence right now. One of those wins came against a very good Creighton team. In the last game against North Florida, Nebraska scored 103 points and they ended up winning in blowout fashion. There were five different players that put up at least 10 points. Connor Esseigan put up 22 points, four rebounds, and two assists. Nebraska has scored 83.3 points per game on average so far this year. Their defense has been giving up an average of 68 points per game. This ranks their offense 50th and their defense 112th in college basketball.

Michigan State’s Defense needs to be Strong

Michigan State knows to find success in this game the defense is going to need to step up in a big way here. In the last game against Minnesota, Michigan State scored 90 points and they ended up winning by 18 points. There were four different players that put up at least 10 points. Two games ago against North Carolina, it was much of the same as Michigan State was able to secure the 94-91 victory. Michigan State has been earning an average of 81.6 points per game, while their defense has allowed for an average of 70.1 points to be scored against them per game. This ranks their offense in 72nd and defense in 156th place.

Nebraska vs Michigan State Prediction

Michigan State sure dominated the last game against Minnesota and it’s going to be much of the same here. Michigan State is averaging 81.6 points per game and I really don’t trust this Nebraska defense. The Cornhuskers’ offense is going to really struggle against the Michigan State defense and that is going to be the difference here as the Spartans are going to come out on top. Back Michigan State against the spread.

Shane Mickle's Pick: Michigan State -6.5
