Miami-OH vs Ohio Prediction

I’ll just stick with the RedHawks. Miami-OH posted yet another tight escape over Toledo this week, hitting 50 percent from the field along the way. The RedHawks gave up 47.8 percent shooting on defense though, along with a 30-26 rebounding deficit, a 48-26 disadvantage on points in the paint and 15 turnovers for 17 Rockets points. The 57.1 percent (8-of-14) from the line didn’t help either. There’s plenty to clean up for the RedHawks.

These teams last met up back on February 13 in a 90-74 home victory for Miami-OH. In that one the RedHawks shot very well on 51.7 percent from the field, 50 percent (9-of-18) from outside and 75 percent (21-of-28) from the line. Miami-OH added a 34-27 rebounding edge with a 36-32 advantage in the paint and nine turnovers. The RedHawks have had some very close games this year though, so they’ll need to be on point for the road rematch if they want to finish undefeated in the regular season.

Andrew Jett's Pick: Miami-OH RedHawks -5.5
