Matched up against the Mountaineers on Wednesday, the Cajuns held a 35-21 edge by the break. Louisiana was outscored 41-33 from there but got the win 68-62. Mostapha El Moutaouakkil finished with 15 points and eight rebounds.

McNeese State vs Louisiana Prediction
I’ll likely try Louisiana here. The Cajuns have looked better over their last three outings, and they’re coming off a solid win over App State. Louisiana hit 41.8 percent from the field with a 36-31 rebounding edge in that one but did have 12 turnovers for 17 Mountaineers points. That makes 68 or more points in two of the last three games for the Cajuns.
As for the Cowboys, they lost to Mississippi State thanks mostly to 10-of-17 (58.8 percent) from the line and 15 turnovers for 20 Bulldogs points in a sloppy game. Otherwise, it was a great effort. McNeese has been below 68 points in three of the last four (all three were losses) however, so a good shooting performance from Louisiana could do it here.
