I’ll lean toward the Rockets but you could call this one either way. Toledo shot very well in their win over Bowling Green on Thursday: 50.8 percent from the field and 50 percent (8-of-16) from outside. Trouble is, the Rockets gave up 52.6 percent shooting on defense alongside a 48-34 deficit on points in the paint and 11 turnovers. The 7-of-13 (53.8 percent) at the line didn’t help either.
These teams last saw each other back on January 20 in an 84-82 road loss for the Rockets. In that one Toledo shot well (54.9 percent) but also had a 33-26 rebounding deficit and 15 turnovers. The Rockets gave up 49.2 percent shooting on the other side which was just enough for the Minutemen to get the win. I like this one to be close as well; should be a fun matchup to watch.
