In this article we will formulate a Le Moyne vs Xavier prediction for this College Basketball game on Thursday, November 6th at the Cintas Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Let’s take a look at the prediction for this College Basketball matchup.

Le Moyne Dolphins Betting Preview

The Le Moyne Dolphins are 1-0 this year after they defeated SUNY Cobleskill by a score of 94-50 to open the season. Le Moyne led 40-20 at halftime and added 54 points in the second half to pull away with the blowout victory. The Dolphins shot 53.4% from the field, 25% on three pointers, and 76.9% on free throws in the game. Le Moyne won the rebounding battle by a total of 41-34, recorded 22 assists, and committed 11 turnovers in the win. Deng Garang led Le Moyne with 16 points and five rebounds, while Tennessee Rainwater added 13 points and two assists in the game.

Le Moyne started the season with a very easy game against a non-D1 team, but they took care of business and won in a blowout. The Dolphins held their opponent to just 35.1% from the field, nine free throw attempts, and they forced 24 turnovers in the dominant win.

Xavier Musketeers Betting Preview

The Xavier Musketeers are 1-0 this season after they defeated Marist by a score of 66-62 in their first game. Xavier led 29-19 at halftime, but they allowed 43 points in the second half and barely got the win. The Musketeers shot 34.0% from the field, 26.9% on three pointers, and 71.9% on free throws in the game. Xavier lost the rebounding battle by a total of 33-31, recorded 13 assists, and committed 11 turnovers in the game. Malik Messina-Moore led the Musketeers with 16 points and three rebounds, while Jovan Milicevic and All Wright both added 14 points off of the bench.

Xavier definitely did not play well in their opener and their poor defense in the second half almost cost them the game. The Musketeers allowed Marist to shoot 47.7% from the field, they allowed 25 free throw attempts, and forced 14 turnovers in the narrow victory.

Le Moyne vs Xavier Prediction

Both of these teams come into this matchup with a 1-0 record to start the season, but Le Moyne played a non-D1 team and Xavier barely escaped against Marist. We will learn a lot more about Le Moyne in this matchup, but I am curious to see how Xavier plays. The Musketeers had a nice lead at halftime in their first game, but they fell apart and did not shoot the ball very well. I do expect a better effort from Xavier in this game, but I am not willing to lay this many points with a team that almost collapsed last time out. Take Le Moyne and the points here.

David Racey's Pick: Le Moyne +22.5
