Le Moyne Dolphins Betting Preview
The Dolphins managed to go just 2-4 over their first six games this year. Those losses came versus Xavier, Bowling Green, UMass and Fairfield. Since then it’s been a 3-3 run with wins over Lafayette, Monmouth and Binghamton among losses otherwise versus Ball State, Texas and Saint Bonaventure. Over 12 games so far this year that gives the Dolphins a 5-7 record in the books.
In the St. Bonaventure matchup on December 20, the Dolphins held a five-point edge at the break. Le Moyne was outscored 50-34 from there however, leading to a 92-81 loss in the end. Leading scorer Shilo Jackson finished with 25 points and six rebounds while Deng Garang had 20 points with eight boards. Jakai Sanders doubled on 10 points with 15 assists in the loss as well.
Boston College Eagles Betting Preview
Over on the Boston College side, they were 3-4 over their first seven games. The losses in that time were courtesy of Florida Atlantic, Central Connecticut, Davidson and Tulane. The Eagles are 3-2 over the last five with losses to LSU and UMass among wins over Harvard, New Haven and Fairleigh Dickinson. Over 12 games so far that makes for a 6-6 overall record for the Eagles.
Matched up against Fairleigh Dickinson on December 22, the Eagles trailed 33-25 going into the second half. Boston College woke up on a 47-28 run from there though, and took the win in the end 72-61. Le Moyne vs Boston College Prediction
I’ll take a stab on Le Moyne. The Dolphins lost the handle in the second half of their latest loss to a good St. Bonaventure team at Reilly Center. Le Moyne ended up shooting 44.8 percent from the field with a 28-24 advantage on points in the paint and 19-of-24 (79.2 percent) from the line. The Dolphins were pretty permissive (48.1 percent) on opposing shooting, though. Le Moyne is scoring well this year; they’ve got 74 or more points in eight of the last nine outings.
As for Boston College, they started out slowly versus Fairleigh Dickinson back on Monday but eventually shot 43.6 percent from the field with 37 rebounds and just seven turnovers. The Eagles weren’t great from the line (14-of-25 for 56 percent), however. Boston College has been scoring pretty well themselves lately so we’ll have a high total here if all goes to plan.
