Jacksonville Dolphins Betting Preview
The Dolphins opened up their 2025-26 campaign with a tricky road matchup versus Miami. Jacksonville was within six points at the break in that one, but didn’t end up getting any closer on a 45-34 second half on the way to an 86-69 road loss. Leading the team in scoring during the losing effort was Jaylen Jones with 14 points, four assists and three rebounds. Chris Arias added 12 points in 23 minutes, and Hayden Wood had 10 points with three rebounds in 29 minutes of work on the floor for the Dolphins in their opener effort.
In game two on Thursday, Jacksonville took on Trinity College and got their first win of the year. The Dolphins had it easy on a 74-25 first half, then scored 58 more points on the way to a 132-45 blowout win. Jason Thirdkill topped the team this time with 19 points and seven boards in just 15 minutes of work on the court. Michael Harper chipped in 15 points, and Jaylen Jordon doubled up on 11 points and 11 boards in 19 minutes of action in the victory.
High Point Panthers Betting Preview
Over on the High Point side, they started out the year with a road game versus Furman last Monday. The Panthers were in good shape after one half holding a 55-40 lead, then closed on a 42-31 run for a nice blowout win 97-71. Rob Martin led the team with 22 points, three assists and two rebounds, while both Owen Aquino (six rebounds) and Conrad Martinez (four assists) had 17 points apiece. Cam’Ron Fletcher doubled up on 11 points, 10 rebounds and three assists in the winning effort for the Panthers as well.
High Point got another win in their second appearance of this year, this time versus Averett University on Saturday. The Panthers jumped out to a 55-22 halftime edge and closed with a 72-30 run for a blowout victory 127-52. Cam’Ron Fletcher topped the team on 25 points with nine boards in 22 minutes this time, and Terry Anderson had 16 points, three rebounds and three assists in 17 minutes of work. Conrad Martinez added 11 points with seven assists and two rebounds in 21 minutes on the floor for High Point this time.

Jacksonville vs High Point Prediction
I’ll stick with High Point. The Panthers have two impressive wins in the books so far this year and they’re looking good. Granted, this past weekend’s matchup with Averett was far from difficult, but High Point still took care of business. The Panthers shot a blistering 70.3 percent from the field with a 39-16 rebounding edge, 27 team assist and a whopping 22 steals along the way. The 74-12 scoring edge in the paint was just another one-sided stat in the victory. In two games so far, High Point has scored 224 combined points.
As for Jacksonville, they’re coming off an easy blowout win themselves. The Dolphins shot 58.5 percent with a 57-18 rebounding edge and 66-24 in the paint in their big win over Trinity College while notching 23 team assists and just nine turnovers. Jacksonville nearly reached the 70-point mark versus Miami in their opener, so this one could be a high-scoring affair as well.
