Jacksonville Dolphins Betting Preview

This year the Dolphins had a tough opener versus Miami. Jacksonville was within six points at halftime, but fell behind on a 45-34 second half during a 86-69 road loss. Tops in scoring was Jaylen Jones with 14 points, four assists and three rebounds. Chris Arias added 12 points in 23 minutes, and Hayden Wood had 10 points with three rebounds as well. Jacksonville got a win over Trinity College FL in their second outing. The Dolphins rolled to a 74-25 first half, then scored 58 more points on the way to a 132-45 win. Jason Thirdkill topped the team with 19 points and seven boards in just 15 minutes. The Dolphins followed that up with a rough 85-64 road loss to High Point on November 11, though.

Back on Saturday versus VMI in game four, Jacksonville was able to eke out a 69-67 road victory to get back to .500 on the year. The Dolphins’ top scorer was Chris Arias with 24 points, six rebounds and four assists. Jalen Joens added 17 points with two assists and four rebounds in the victory effort as well.

George Mason Patriots Betting Preview

Over on the George Mason side, they took on Wofford in their opener. The Pats were up by seven at halftime, then hit a 41-24 tear in a 70-46 blowout win. Leading the way was Kory Mincy with 18 points and six assists, while Riley Allenspach added 12 points with four rebounds. The Patriots beat Winthrop in game two. George Mason trailed by four at halftime then stormed back on 53 more points from there in a 96-90 win. Why the George Mason Patriots will win

Jacksonville vs George Mason Prediction

I’ll probably just stay with George Mason. The Patriots could use a much better shooting performance here than the one they got versus New Hampshire last weekend, though. In that victory George Mason shot just 35.2 percent from the field and an awful 2-of-20 (10 percent) from outside along with 12 turnovers. The good news is that the Pats had a 42-26 rebounding edge and did pretty well (21-of-27) from the line. The defense was good as well, holding the Wildcats to just 31.4 percent from the field. George Mason has 70 or more points in three of their four games so far this year. They’ve held opponents to fewer than 63 points in three of those games as well. As for the Dolphins, they’ve scored a nice 69 or more points in three of their four games, winning two of the three. Jacksonville played a pretty good road game versus VMI last weekend and may give George Mason a little trouble if they’re on point.
