Grand Canyon Antelopes Betting Preview
The Lopes limped through a 6-4 run in their opening 10 games, falling to Arizona State, UC Davis, Georgia and Louisiana Tech along the way. After wins versus Chicago State, Saint Louis, San Diego, Bryant and Southern Utah, Grand Canyon took a loss to Utah Valley before wins versus Abilene Christian, Tarleton State, Southern Utah, Utah Tech, Seattle U and Utah Valley. Another loss to Cal Baptist came next, then wins over Tarleton State, Texas Arlington (twice) and Cal Baptist over the next four outings. Through the first 27 games of the 2024-25 campaign, that would give the Antelopes an overall record of 21-6.
In the home rematch versus Texas-Arlington, the Lopes managed a 40-27 halftime edge. Grand Canyon kept the pace from there with a 45-44 run and took the win in the end 85-71. Topping the scorers was Ray Harrison with 19 points, six assists, four rebounds and three steals. Collin Moore added 16 points with seven assists and six steals in 29 minutes, while JaKobe Coles had 13 points with eight boards and two assists.
Seattle Redhawks Betting Preview
Over on the Seattle side, they’ve had a choppy run this year that’s left the team a handful of games below the .500 mark overall. The Redhawks went just 5-10 over their first 15 with wins over only UCSD, Northwest U, Portland State, Pacific OR and Washington. Wins over Abilene Christian, Utah Tech and Southern Utah came next, but since then it’s been a 3-6 stretch. Those wins were over Tarleton State, Texas-Arlington and Cal Baptist. The losses otherwise were against Texas-Arlington, Utah Valley, Grand Canyon, Abilene Christian, Tarleton State and Utah Valley. That gives the Redhawks an 11-16 record across 27 games this year so far.
Matched up against Cal Baptist in a home game on Thursday, Seattle entered the second half with a 36-28 edge. The Redhawks kept it going from there on a 36-20 advantage and took the eventual win 72-48 in blowout fashion. Tops in scoring was Matthew-Alexander Moncrieffe with 19 points, eight boards, one assist and one steal. John Christofilis added 17 points with two steals and two rebounds, while Kobe Williamson chipped in 12 points with six boards.

Grand Canyon vs Seattle Prediction
I’m staying with Grand Canyon. The Antelopes put up a pretty solid all-around effort in their latest home win over Texas-Arlington, hitting 47.9 percent from the field with 34 rebounds, 20 team assists and 24 points off 17 Mavericks turnovers. Grand Canyon has now won four straight games, however they’ve been below 67 points in two of those. Still, it’s tough to find too many weaknesses with the way the Lopes have been playing lately.
GCU took out Seattle 83-74 in a home victory the last time these teams met up back on January 30. The Antelopes shot a nice 49.1 percent from the field with 38 rebounds in that one, but did struggle from 3-point range on 4-of-22 (18.2 percent) overall. The 13 turnovers for 15 Seattle points didn’t help either. That said, Grand Canyon is hot right now and should have the advantage in most categories during this road rematch.
