I’ll likely lean toward LA Tech, but you could probably make a case either way. The Bulldogs started pretty slowly against a struggling Louisiana team in their last outing, but eventually shot 52.9 percent from the field with a 36-22 rebounding edge. The 16 turnovers (for 20 Louisiana points) were a major blemish, though. Louisiana Tech has hit a nice 69 points in four straight games and in nine of 10 overall this year, so the Bulldogs should be good for a healthy total here.
As for Georgia Southern, they eked by North Florida in their last outing despite a rough 12-of-22 (54.5 percent) from the line and 14 turnovers. The Eagles had been below 65 points in three straight games prior to that, so I’m not sure I can trust them on the road here.
