On Tuesday versus Georgia Tech, the Eagles had a one-point edge going into the second half but couldn’t hold it in a 68-66 loss. Khayri Dunn was tops on 13 points and Alden Applewhite had 11 points with 11 rebounds for a double-double in the losing effort.

Chauncey Wiggins led the team on 22 points and five boards while Robert McCray doubled up on 12 points, 17 assists and four boards. Georgia Southern vs Florida State Prediction
I’ll take a stab on Georgia Southern. The Eagles were able to hang around with a pretty good Georgia Tech team well this week at McCamish Pavilion, only losing by a couple of points. Georgia Southern has a lot to clean up from that game, including 34.3 percent shooting, 8-of-15 (53.3 percent) from the line, a 42-33 rebounding deficit and 14 turnovers. If any one of those areas had been slightly better, we’d be talking about a tight road win for the Eagles. As it stands now, Georgia Southern has another difficult road matchup in store Friday. Florida State didn’t have too many issues with TN-Martin—outside of a 38-30 rebounding disadvantage and 13-of-23 for 56.5 percent on the boards. They’ll be a tricky opponent for the Eagles, but I think Georgia Southern can hang around.
