Fresno State Bulldogs Betting Preview
The Bulldogs have nine games in the bag so far this year. Fresno State started out on a shaky 2-2 run though, taking losses to USC Upstate and UC San Diego amid wins over Fresno Pacific and Long Beach State in that time. After a four-game win streak over Utah Valley, Stephen F. Austin, New Orleans and Pepperdine, the Bulldogs took another loss to Cal State Bakersfield in their latest game. That gives Fresno State a 6-3 run through nine outings so far.
In the CSU Bakersfield matchup back on Sunday, the Bulldogs were looking good at halftime on a 40-34 advantage. Fresno State hit a 42-31 deficit the rest of the way however, resulting in a 76-71 loss in the end. Tops in scoring was Jake Heidbreder with 20 points, three boards and two assists, while Zaon Collins had 17 points with four assists and two rebounds. Wilson Jacques doubled up with 11 points and 11 rebounds in 25 minutes during the loss as well.
Arkansas Razorbacks Betting Preview
Over on the Arkansas side, they played seven games in November, recording two losses in that time. The Razorbacks kicked off with a win over Southern, then lost to Michigan State. After winning four straight over Central Arkansas, Samford, Winthrop and Jackson State, Arkansas dropped another game versus Duke on November 27. In the first month of the season, the Razorbacks carved out a 5-2 overall record.
In their latest matchup versus Louisville on Wednesday, the Razorbacks were able to notch a nice 89-80 victory at Bud Walton Arena. Arkansas was led by Trevon Brazile with 21 points and five boards, while Darius Acuff doubled up on 17 points with 10 assists and five rebounds. All three bench contributors managed double-digit points, including Maleek Thomas with 17 points and five boards.

Fresno State vs Arkansas Prediction
I’ll lean toward Arkansas. The Razorbacks notched a nice win over a very good Louisville team this week, shooting 42 percent from the field with a 46-36 rebounding advantage along the way. Arkansas was outscored 42-34 in the paint but made up for it with a solid performance from the line on 27-of-35 (77 percent) there. The Razorbacks have 71 or more points in all eight games so far this year, with the one outlier being 66 points in a three-point loss to Michigan State on November 8 in game two.
As for Fresno State, they had a pretty ugly offensive game versus CSU Bakersfield in their latest outing. The Bulldogs shot just 36.9 percent from the field and 24.2 percent (8-of-33) from outside along with 15 turnovers. Fresno State held CSUB to just 1-of-15 (6.7 percent) from 3-point range, but the Roadrunners made up for it with 23-of-24 (95.8 percent) from the line. The good news for the Bulldogs is that they’ve scored 71 or more points in seven straight games now. I could see Fresno State staying reasonably close here if the shots drop early.
