Arkansas State vs Troy Prediction 3/10/25 College Basketball Picks

Arkansas State at Troy at 7 PM ET

The Arkansas State Red Wolves have recently triumphed over UL Monroe, Louisiana, and South Alabama. They have secured victories in 13 of their last 17 contests. Currently, the Red Wolves are averaging 79.4 points per game with a shooting percentage of 42.7, while conceding 69.3 points on 40 percent shooting. Taryn Todd is contributing an average of 15.1 points and 4.6 rebounds, whereas Joseph Pinion is averaging 12.3 points and 1.2 assists.

The Troy Trojans have achieved a series of victories against Coastal Carolina, Texas State, Southern Miss, Old Dominion, and James Madison. They are currently enjoying a five-game winning streak and have won 11 out of their last 14 games. The team averages 73 points per game, shooting at 43.6 percent while allowing 65.3 points on 41 percent shooting. Tayton Conerway leads the team with an average of 13.8 points and 4.9 assists, while Myles Rigsby contributes 12 points and 4.2 rebounds per game.

The Pick:

During yesterday’s game against James Madison, I witnessed Troy seize control early and maintain their lead without faltering. This performance has solidified my belief in their abilities. Troy is currently excelling on both sides of the court, having allowed 60 points or fewer in three consecutive games. Moreover, they have an impressive 19-11 record against the spread this season. I anticipate that Troy will secure its third NCAA Tournament appearance in the history of the institution, the first since 2017.

Wofford vs Furman Prediction 3/10/25 College Basketball Picks

Wofford at Furman at 7 PM ET

Recently, the Wofford Terriers competed against Western Carolina, Furman, East Tennessee State, and VMI. The team aims to achieve three consecutive wins for the first time since January 4-13. Presently, the Wofford Terriers are scoring an average of 74.6 points with a shooting accuracy of 45 percent, while allowing 69.8 points at a shooting rate of 43.4 percent. Corey Tripp is the team’s leading scorer, averaging 14.2 points and 3.9 rebounds, while Kyler Filewich adds an average of 11.9 points and 3.1 assists.

The Furman Paladins have engaged in recent contests against VMI, The Citadel, Wofford, Samford, and Chattanooga, securing six consecutive wins. They are averaging 76.7 points per game with a shooting percentage of 45.2, while their opponents score an average of 68.5 points on 41.4 percent shooting. PJay Smith Jr. is a key player, averaging 17.4 points and 3.8 assists, while Nick Anderson contributes with 14.4 points and 2.3 rebounds per game.

The Pick:

Furman is demonstrating remarkable offensive prowess and possesses a defense that is ranked among the top 100 in scoring defense, the top 60 in field goal percentage, and the top 30 in three-point defense. I have previously indicated that Furman is a serious contender to win this tournament, and I stand by that assertion. I will continue to support them as they progress. I am prepared to wager on Furman as they embark on their eighth NCAA Tournament in the school’s history.

Montana State vs Idaho State Prediction 3/10/25 College Basketball Picks

Montana State at Idaho State at 7:30 PM ET

The Montana State Bobcats completed the regular season with a record of 14-17, finishing in 5th place within the Big Sky Conference. They recently celebrated a victory over Idaho, winning the game 75-60. The Bobcats have struggled against the spread, with a record of 10-18, and their over/under is balanced at 14-14. Their road record has been particularly poor, standing at 2-14. Brandon Walker has emerged as the top scorer for Montana State this season, averaging 14.7 points per game and leading the team with 4.9 rebounds. Meanwhile, Max Agbonkpolo contributes an average of 10.2 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.

The Idaho State Bengals wrapped up their regular season with a total of 15 victories and 14 defeats, placing them 4th in the Big Sky standings. Their most recent game resulted in a narrow loss to Northern Arizona, ending with a score of 79-82. The Bengals have an impressive record of 17-9 against the spread and a 16-10 record in over/under betting. Dylan Darling is the team’s leading scorer, averaging 19.9 points, along with 3.4 rebounds and a team-high 5.9 assists. Jake O’Neil also plays a crucial role, averaging 13 points and leading the team with 9.3 rebounds per game.

The Pick:

In their last ten encounters, Montana State has achieved a record of 9 wins and 1 loss against Idaho State, while also performing well against the spread with a record of 7 wins, 2 losses, and 1 push. The total has exceeded expectations in 3 out of their last 4 matchups. In their most recent contest earlier this season, Montana State secured a victory at home with a score of 74-69, successfully covering the spread and surpassing the total points. Both teams have recently engaged in several high-scoring games, collectively going 11-5 to the over in their last 16 games. Given that their only meeting this season also resulted in an over, I anticipate another high-scoring affair today, thus I recommend betting on the Over.

Pepperdine vs St. Mary’s Prediction 3/10/25 College Basketball Picks

Pepperdine at St. Mary’s at 9 PM ET

The Pepperdine Waves have undoubtedly become one of the most remarkable surprises in the aftermath of the regular season. They captured national attention by winning three consecutive matches over three days, successfully reaching the semifinals of the WCC tournament. After concluding the regular season with five straight losses and eight defeats in nine games, few expected the Waves to prevail against Portland in the second round of the WCC tournament. However, Pepperdine not only defeated Portland but also went on to win against Oregon State and the fourth-seeded Santa Clara. The Waves are currently averaging 73.4 points per game (209th) while allowing 76.7 points per game (309th). Additionally, they are securing 35.5 rebounds per game (191st) and distributing 15.9 assists per game (60th).

The St. Mary’s Gaels concluded the regular season impressively, achieving seven consecutive victories and securing 17 wins out of their last 18 matches, with their sole defeat attributed to San Francisco. With only one loss in conference play, St. Mary’s has established itself as a formidable contender in the West Coast Conference, finishing as the top seed, three wins ahead of Gonzaga and 13 wins more than their upcoming rival, Pepperdine. The team averages 74.2 points per game, ranking 176th, while permitting only 60.8 points per game, placing them 5th in that category.

The Pick:

I must respectfully state that Pepperdine is unlikely to succeed against St. Mary’s on Monday. The Gaels have shown considerable strength throughout the season and are a superior team overall. Additionally, the Waves have recently played three consecutive games, which may have impacted their performance. St. Mary’s has won nine of the last ten encounters with Pepperdine and is currently on an eight-game winning streak against them. This season, St. Mary’s has triumphed in both of their matchups with Pepperdine and has covered the spread in both instances, extending their streak to seven straight covers in head-to-head contests. I am firmly backing the Gaels.

Idaho vs Portland State Prediction 3/10/25 College Basketball Picks

Idaho at Portland State at 10 PM ET

The Idaho Vandals concluded the regular season with a record of 13 wins and 18 losses, securing the 5th position in the Big Sky Conference. Their most recent game resulted in a 60-75 defeat against Montana State. The Vandals have a record of 10 wins, 16 losses, and 3 pushes against the spread, while their over/under record stands at 18 wins and 11 losses. Kolton Mitchell is the leading scorer for Idaho, averaging 11.3 points per game and contributing a team-high of 3.4 assists. Additionally, Kristian Gonzalez contributes 11.1 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.

The regular season for the Portland State Vikings ended with a record of 19-12, placing them third in the Big Sky Conference. They are coming off a close victory against Sacramento State, winning 59-56. The Vikings have a record of 16-11-1 against the spread and 13-15 in terms of over/under outcomes. Jaylin Henderson is the team’s leading scorer this season, averaging 13.1 points and 3.8 rebounds per game, while Terri Miller supports the offense with an average of 11.9 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.

The Pick:

Portland State boasts a 9-1 record in their last ten matchups against Idaho, along with an 8-2 mark against the spread. The under has prevailed in six of their last seven meetings. Earlier this season, Portland State triumphed over Idaho with a score of 76-69 on the road, covering the spread while the total points fell under. Both teams have struggled offensively in recent games, resulting in a series of lower-scoring outcomes, reflected in a 5-3 record to the under over their last eight games. In light of the single-elimination format of this matchup, I predict a low-scoring contest, leading me to back the Under.

San Francisco vs Gonzaga Prediction 3/10/25 College Basketball Picks

San Francisco at Gonzaga at 11:30 PM ET

The San Francisco Dons completed the regular season with a total of seven wins from nine games. Interestingly, both of their losses were to Gonzaga, their forthcoming rivals. The Dons entered the WCC tournament as the third seed and kicked off the tournament with an 86-75 win over Washington State. They covered a -6.5 spread, and the game total exceeded 152.5 points. San Francisco averages 75.9 points per game, ranking 129th, and allows 68.4 points per game, which ranks them 73rd.

The Gonzaga Bulldogs wrapped up their regular season by securing seven wins out of their last eight games. Their sole loss occurred against the top-seeded St. Mary’s, while they achieved their final victory against San Francisco. The Bulldogs demonstrated offensive prowess by scoring more than 84 points in five of their last six matchups and surpassed the 100-point mark for the fourth time this season with a commanding 107-55 victory over Pepperdine. It is noteworthy that Pepperdine is now advancing to the semifinals of the WCC tournament. Gonzaga is currently averaging 87.6 points per game, which ranks them second, while they are allowing 70.0 points per game, placing them at 118th.

The Pick:

In recent years, Gonzaga has consistently dominated this matchup. The Bulldogs have emerged victorious in their last ten encounters, including a recent win of 95-75, where they successfully covered a -9 spread. Although the spread has increased for this matchup, I am confident that Gonzaga will still cover it and advance to the WCC finals alongside St. Mary’s. San Francisco will be without their second-leading scorer and top assist provider, Marcus Williams, which will adversely affect the Dons’ chances in this game. His absence will limit their offensive options, and without a robust offense, it is challenging to compete against the second-best offensive team in college basketball. I suggest placing your trust in the Zags to win and cover the spread.

Oliver Zivic's Pick: Gonzaga -14.5
