Fordham Rams Betting Preview
The Rams managed to win six of their first eight games this year in a pretty good start. Fordham lost to Colgate and Holy Cross from there before hitting a three-game win streak. The next seven games were a 1-6 run though, featuring losses to Dayton, Richmond, George Mason, Saint Louis, Duquesne and Davidson. Over the first 20 games of the year that would make for a 10-10 overall record.
On Wednesday versus La Salle, the Rams were in the locker room sitting on a 34-32 deficit. Fordham hit a 32-24 run the rest of the way however, posting an eventual comeback victory in a home matchup 64-58. Akira Jacobs put up 13 points with five rebounds and two assists while Dejour Reaves had 11 points with eight rebounds and four assists in the winning effort.
George Washington Revolutionaries Betting Preview
Over on the George Washington side, they got off to an 8-2 start this year featuring losses to only McNeese and Murray State. The Revolutionaries would then lose to Delaware and Florida before a 4-1 run that had only a loss to Dayton as the blemish. Since then it’s been a 1-3 stretch though, with losses to Davidson, George Mason and Saint Louis. That gives the Revs a 13-8 run so far this year.
On Tuesday versus Saint Louis, the Revs were looking good at halftime, sitting in the locker room with a 43-33 edge on the road. George Washington was outscored 46-33 the rest of the way however, losing steam in an eventual loss 79-76. Christian Jones (five rebounds) and Tyrone Marshall each had 15 points, while Rafael Castro had 12 points with 18 rebounds in the defeat.

Fordham vs George Washignton Prediction
I’ll stick with George Washington. The Revolutionaries missed a golden opportunity in their last outing versus a good Saint Louis team and couldn’t pull off the road upset win. George Washington ended up shooting a tepid 41.5 percent from the field in that one with 66.7 percent (14-of-21) from the line and 14 turnovers along the way. The Revolutionaries have lost three of the last four games so they could use some electricity on Saturday in a home matchup that they really need.
As for Fordham, they had a little trouble early on against a struggling La Salle team that was in for a visit, but to their credit the Rams rallied and won. Fordham shot a tepid 41.4 percent from the field but made all eight of their free throws and had just eight turnovers. It’s probably going to take a big offensive effort from the Rams in order to keep a relative pace in this one.
