I’ll stay with Dayton. The Flyers will need a good bounce-back effort here after their tough loss to Liberty, however. Dayton shot just 37.7 percent from the field in that one and got outscored in the paint 36-20. The Flyers did well on the boards (a 35-27 edge) and at the line (12-of-15 for 80 percent), however. The 61 points were Dayton’s lowest total of the season so far, and came after a combined 181 points in the previous two outings.
As for Fordham, they didn’t have too many issues versus New Haven in their last outing. The Rams shot 50.9 percent from the field in that one with 35 rebounds and 40 points in the paint—but did cough up 15 turnovers. Fordham had managed a nice 69 or more points in three straight games prior to that, but only mustered 65 versus New Haven.
