• Quality scoring. Florida State guards Robert McCray V and Lajae Jones combine for over 24 points per game.

• Frontcourt play. Senior forward Alex Steen anchors the paint for the Seminoles averaging 6.9 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1 block per game

Why the Miami Hurricanes Will Win

• Home court dominance. Miami is 11–0 at home this season.

• Offensive efficiency. The Miami Hurricanes are averaging 86.2 points per game which ranks 24th in the nation.

• Defensive edge. The Miami Hurricanes are allowing opponents 69.2 points per contest. Conversely, the Seminoles are allowing opponents 81.3 points per game.

Florida State Seminoles vs. Miami Hurricanes Prediction

This matchup features Miami’s elite offensive efficiency, quality offense and perfect home record (11-0) against a Florida State team that has struggled on both sides of the floor all season. The Florida State Seminoles high-paced offense could give them a chance to stay competitive, but I just don’t think the Seminoles can compete with Miami for 40 minutes. For the reasons just noted, I am backing the Hurricanes to win tomorrow’s game.

Hans Geevers's Pick: Miami Hurricanes -11.5
