I’ll stick with Miami. The Hurricanes have been pretty impressive lately and they’re coming off another nice win over LA-Monroe. Miami hit 60 percent from the field in that one with a 42-25 rebounding edge, 27 assists and a whopping 62 points in the paint. During this current four-game win streak, the Hurricanes have posted 75 or more points in each with a combined 192 points in the last pair.
As for FIU, they got past Jacksonville without too much difficulty thanks to 56.3 percent shooting and a stellar 68.8 percent (11-of-16) from outside. The Panthers did reach double-digit turnovers however, and got out-rebounded 38-26 along the way. FIU is scoring very well this year with 72 or more points in six straight games. They’re giving up a lot on the other side versus good offenses though.
