I’ll stick with Wright State. The Raiders rattled off a pretty nice win over Air Force this week, getting some solid minutes for a few bench guys in the process. Wright State shot extremely well in that one with 59 percent from the field and 43 percent (10-of-23) from outside. The Raiders added a 42-36 rebounding edge and a reasonable 76 percent (16-of-21) from the line but did have 14 turnovers. All things considered it was a well-rounded effort in a win.
As for FAU, they didn’t shoot spectacularly in their win over Long Island U, notching 40 percent from the field and 10 percent (1-of-10) from outside. The Owls won the rebounding battle 44-38 though, and kept the Sharks under control on defense for the most part. Wright State should mark a bit of an uptick in competition, though. I don’t think Florida Atlantic quite has the gas to cover in this scenario.
