Florida Atlantic vs North Texas Prediction
I’ll lean toward the Mean Green. North Texas had a bad second half in a loss to a pretty solid Tulane team this week, eventually shooting 42.6 percent from the field with 11 turnovers and 46.4 percent shooting allowed on defense. The Mean Green are still 3-1 in their last four games though, scoring 71 or more points in three of those outings.
As for FAU, they started a bit slowly in their road win over a struggling UTSA team this week but everything worked out in the end. The Owls shot just 36.7 percent from the field though, along with 21.1 percent (4-of-19) from 3-point range and a 45-43 rebounding disadvantage. Florida Atlantic had lost six straight games prior to that, so the win should provide some confidence heading into Sunday’s matchup.
