Jordan Chatman was tops on 17 points and four rebounds in the loss, and Antonio Baker also reached double-digits with his 16 points, one rebound and one assist.
TCU Horned Frogs Betting Preview
Over on the TCU side, they went 5-2 in their first seven outings of the year. The Frogs lost to New Orleans and Michigan in that time, otherwise beating Saint Francis, Lamar, Kansas City, Florida and Wisconsin. After another loss to Notre Dame, TCU has since taken wins over North Texas, Incarnate Word and Oral Roberts in their last three outings. In total that makes for an 8-3 record across the first 11 games.
Matched up against Oral Roberts on Thursday, the Frogs went into the second half with a 38-25 edge. TCU hit a 34-28 run the rest of the way, eventually taking the win 72-53 in the end. Leading the team in scoring with 17 points and six boards was David Punch. The only other team player to make it to double-digits for the Horned Frogs was Jayden Pierre with 12 points, four assists and three rebounds.

I’ll stick with TCU. The Frogs didn’t have a ton of issues versus Oral Roberts in their last outing, shooting 48.2 percent from the field with 35 rebounds, 40 points in the paint and just eight turnovers. The 3-point shooting (4-of-16 for 25 percent) wasn’t spectacular but otherwise it was a nice effort for TCU. The Frogs hadn’t scored more than 69 points in consecutive games prior to that, but the good news is that they’ve given up fewer than 66 points in three straight (all wins).
As for Florida A&M, they shot just 32.7 percent from the field in their latest loss to a pretty solid Tarleton State team. The Rattlers also got outmuscled on the boards 37-28 and coughed up 22 turnovers along the way. Florida A&M had scored a combined 165 points across their previous two games (both wins) before the 54-point total on Friday.
