Fairleigh Dickinson Knights Betting Preview
The Knights have a couple of decent runs in the books so far this year but overall it’s been a choppy season. Fairleigh Dickinson kicked things off on a rough 4-11 stretch, beating only Purchase, Manhattan, Vermont State Randolph, and Lehman College in that time. The Knights would go 7-4 over the next 11 outings with losses to St. Francis PA, Central Connecticut, Mercyhurst, and Central Connecticut again among wins versus Wagner, Le Moyne, Chicago State, Stonehill, Le Moyne, Wagner, and Chicago State in that time. Since then it’s been a 2-4 run with wins over Stonehill (twice) among losses to LIU, Mercyhurst, St. Francis PA, and Long Island U. That gives the Knights a 13-19 record over 32 games so far this year.
In the matchup versus Stonehill on Wednesday, Fairleigh Dickinson posted a 30-20 advantage in the first half. The Knights finished strong on a 41-36 advantage and took the win in the end 71-56. Terrence Brown was the team’s leading scorer with 23 points, five rebounds, six assists, and two steals in 36 minutes. Bismark Nsiah added 12 points with four rebounds, three assists, and three steals, while Jo’el Emanuel chipped in 11 points with five rebounds in 39 minutes.
Central Connecticut Blue Devils Betting Preview
Over on the Blue Devils’ side, they started out fairly well this year and they’ve been on fire since mid-January. Central Connecticut opened with an 11-6 run featuring losses to Providence, Northeastern, Sacred Heart, Rhode Island, Wagner, and LIU. Since then it’s been a long stretch of wins versus Fairleigh Dickinson, Le Moyne, Chicago State, LIU, Stonehill, Fairleigh Dickinson, Mercyhurst, St. Francis PA, Chicago State, Stonehill, Le Moyne, Wagner, and Le Moyne in succession. That gives the Devils a 24-6 record over 30 games so far.
In the Le Moyne home rematch on Wednesday, the Blue Devils came out of the break with a commanding lead 51-35. Central Connecticut cruised from there on 35 more points and took the win in the end 86-67. Jordan Jones topped the team with 19 points, four assists, and five rebounds, while Jaelen McGlone came off the bench for 18 points with five rebounds, one assist, and two steals. Devin Haid added 14 points with four rebounds and three assists.

Fairleigh Dickinson vs Central Connecticut Prediction
I’ll stay with the Blue Devils. Central Connecticut is on a great run these days and coming off another big win over a struggling Le Moyne team. In that one, the Devils shot a nice 52.6 percent from the field with a 33-29 rebounding edge and 12-of-25 (48 percent) from outside. Central Connecticut has scored 81 or more points in four of the last six games, and their win streak stands at a nice 13 games.
Central Connecticut won both matchups between these teams this year: 71-60 on the road on January 18 and 87-66 at home on February 6. Provided the Blue Devils can keep their offense cooking, I don’t see too much difference in the outcome for game three on Saturday.
