Evansville Aces Betting Preview
The Aces lost to North Texas, Middle Tennessee, Radford, and Ohio State in their first five games. After wins over Green Bay and Campbell, Evansville has since lost to Murray State, Western Kentucky, and Chattanooga.
In the Mocs matchup last Thursday, the Aces came out of halftime with a 41-29 deficit. Evansville hit a 38-34 run the rest of the way in a 75-67 loss. Tops in scoring was Tanner Cuff with 18 points and five rebounds.
TX-Arlington Mavericks Betting Preview
Over on the TX-Arlington side, they lost to LA Tech, USC, Missouri State, and Murray State in their first six games. The Mavericks are 3-2 since then with wins over Austin Peay and LA-Monroe (twice) alongside losses to Rhode Island and Arkansas State.

I’ll lean toward TX-Arlington here. Probably not touching it, though. The Mavericks have beaten up a struggling LA-Monroe team a couple of times in the last three games, which has helped their recent record. Still, TX-Arlington has hit 77 or more points in four straight. They’re also giving up quite a bit of points themselves in that time, though (68 or more in each).
As for the Aces, they could use a good performance on Wednesday. Evansville shot a reasonable 44.4 percent from the field in their last outing versus Chattanooga but also coughed up 15 turnovers and surrendered 50 percent shooting on the other side. The Aces have scored fewer than 68 points in four straight games (a 1-3 run) so I’m not confident about them here.
