I’ll stay with Duquesne. The Dukes weren’t at their best in their last outing versus a pretty good VCU team, despite shooting 52.8 percent from the field. Duquesne hit just 16-of-25 (64 percent) from the line though, and had a 30-23 rebounding deficit in the 13-point defeat. The Dukes had won three straight prior to that though, and they’ve scored 75 or more points in five consecutive outings (a 3-2 run).
As for Saint Joseph’s, they imploded during the second half of their last matchup versus Davidson. The Hawks ended up shooting 38 percent from the field and just 3-of-22 (13.6 percent) from outside along with a 27-25 rebounding deficit and 11 turnovers in that one. Saint Joseph’s has lost four of their last six games but they’ve held opponents below 69 points in three of the last four.
