I’ll lean toward Robert Morris but it’s a coin flip. The Colonials didn’t have too many issues with a pretty good Wright State team over the weekend during their road victory. Rob Morris shot 52.7 percent from the field in that one with a 27-24 rebounding edge, 94.1 percent (16-of-17) from the line and just nine turnovers. The Colonials have won five straight games now, scoring 72 or more points in each of those.
When these teams last saw each other back on January 2, Robert Morris secured an 85-77 victory on the road. In that one the Colonials shot a solid 45.5 percent from the field and hit 28 of their 32 free throws (87.5 percent). Robert Morris added a 30-18 rebounding advantage and a 36-24 edge in the paint, but did commit 12 turnovers and gave up 48.1 percent shooting on defense. I like the Colonials to pick up another win in the home rematch but it’ll be a fun one to watch.
