I’ll lean toward Dayton. The Flyers took care of a good St. Louis team pretty easily in a home win this week. In that matchup Dayton shot 47.1 percent from the field with 75 percent (21-of-28) from the line and just nine turnovers. The Flyers were competitive on the boards and in the paint while giving up just 40 percent shooting on defense. Dayton has won four straight games now, and they’ve scored 77 or more points in three straight.
These teams last saw each other back on January 6 in a 79-72 home win for Dayton. The Flyers shot 41.8 percent from the field in that one with a 33-28 deficit on the boards. Dayton also gave up 48.1 percent shooting on defense but had 90 percent (27-of-30) from the line. I like the Flyers to play well in the road rematch if they can keep that shooting percentage up.
