I’ll lean toward Dayton but I’m probably staying away. The Flyers didn’t shoot well versus VCU, hitting just 36.9 percent from the field and 60 percent (18-of-30) from the line alongside a 44-34 deficit in the paint and 16 turnovers. Dayton has been off the court for a while, and this game marks the start of a four-game swing over the next nine days (with three of those being at home, fortunately).
As for Davidson, they didn’t have any issues with an overmatched Mid-Atlantic Christian team in their last game, shooting a stellar 61.2 percent from the field with a 49-20 rebounding advantage. The Wildcats have won three of the last four games, scoring 79 or more points in each of those. I could see Davidson powering one out here as well.
