Cornell vs Columbia Prediction
I’ll lean toward Columbia. The Lions need a return to form here however, following a rough second half in a home loss to Princeton. In that one Columbia ended up shooting just 39.7 percent from the field and 41.2 percent (7-of-17) at the line. The Lions gave up a whopping 57.1 percent shooting on the other side and 53.3 percent (8-of-15) from 3-point range. Columbia has been scoring well lately though, with 68 or more points in eight of the last nine outings.
These teams last saw each other back on January 5 in a 104-99 road win for the Lions. Columbia ended up with a nice 55 percent shooting in that one along with 84.8 percent (28-of-33) from the line. The Lions did commit 16 turnovers however, so they’ll need to watch the ball control in the home rematch.
